CCI South Alberta received notification from Service Alberta advising of upcoming Open Houses, to share thoughts on their efforts to modernize Alberta’s condominium laws.
Service Alberta would like to hear from condo owners, condo corporations, managers, and others on condo board governance issues, including:
- Voting Procedures and General Meetings
- Condominium Documents
- Financial Considerations
- Rules, Rental Deposits, and Termination
- Insurance Requirements
- Reserve Funds
- Dispute Resolution
Open house dates and locations
July 26, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. – Calgary, Macdonald Hall, Heritage Hall Building, SAIT Main Campus
Aug. 1, 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. – Lethbridge, City Hall Foyer
An online survey will follow as part of this work to hear from as many Albertans as possible.
